This Fanfic takes place after Kings Cage
When Norta has 3 strong Kings (Ptolemus Samos, Maven Calore and Tiberias Calore.)
The Scalet gaurd cannot break the wheel of silver Kings and Queens so the Montfort council has appointed Mare as Queen, to gather most of Norta and enforce equal rights for Reds and Silvers. This story has contains 3 Silver kings and one Red Queen. Mare takes Regent State.
Mare struggles to find peace given what she has endured and fight to not only be a better Queen Norta needs but a better person.
Maven finds out Mare is Queen and she is untouchable his desire to be with her intensifies.
Cal gets married to Evangeline.
I as writer hold this love story very dear to my heart.
In this story Mare struggles with her feelings but eventually learns to be better.

What if Evangeline didn't set Mare free? So, essentially it's kind of a what would have happened type of Fanfic. There are going to be a couple of inconsistencies in the story, but just roll with it please! I'm also going to try to make it as perfect (grammar wise) as possible. "Do you want me to live?" I choke the words out, nearly a sob, head pounding. Maven steps into my cell and this time I do not move away. I stay in my place on the cold ground, waiting to see how he responds. He stops right in front of me, crouching down. He puts a hand out to push the hair out of my face and I let him.
