This is a Zootopia AU in which I use the scrapped concept of predators wearing tame collars. I know this is already done, like a lot, but this is my own take on it.
Nick is more or less the bigger focus in this, and yes it involves WildeHopps.

I'm not really a writer, but I tried haha. This actually started off as something to write to vent because I've been struggling a lot, but now I'm more into it so I thought I'd post it here (it's also on my Insta).

I do not own Zootopia, all rights go to Disney (as you probably already know). I've seen a lot of great Zootopia stories, but I've noticed something they all have in common when the human character shows up (usually there is only one or two humans), they immediately befriend the Zootopians right away, well let's change that, let's add a more than one human, a family if you will, a pet dog, that don't have a great start with our favorite cop duo Judy and Nick and just want to be left alone rather than facing the music, because honestly, not all humans would be this accepting if they got stuck in a world full of furries. This story is about a man named Ryan Nelson, who also happens to be a border patrol agent, his family, and his K.9 partner, ending up in, you guessed it, Zootopia, after a work related trip. To add some realism, when they meet Zootopia's favorite cop duo, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, they have panic attack at seeing talking and walking animals resulting them to be freaks to the city, evading police capture With animals seeing humans as monsters, how will they survive this type of concrete jungle with the ZPD'a top officers hunting them down. Especially when old enemies from both Judy, Nick's, and the human's past arrive later on. How can Ryan hope to keep his family safe from both police and criminals. Mature because of drug dealing, firearms, strong language, and some romance between characters idk.

Zootopia: A Tale of Two Foxes

26 parts Complete Mature

In the world of Zootopia, where predator and prey live in harmony, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are partner cops in Precinct 1 of the ZPD. Though Nick is content with his new life, when a strange new matvia gang causes trouble for an old friend, and a hired help for the ZPD becomes a rival for his precious partner, Nick finds himself forced into a truly tumultuous situation, risking the loss of all that he has fought for and gained in his new life forever. This is a story written using elements of older Zootopia lore, as well as following through on the inputs offered during interviews with the main actors themselves, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman. While this story will occasionally stray to the PG-13 side (in terms of action/violence and some dark/perilous scenes), being a dedicated Zootopia lover and a #WildeHopps shipper since the first time I saw ZOOTOPIA in theaters, may this story be a satisfactory fanfiction sequel to this amazing Disney-based anthropomorphic animal world. :)
