My grandfather, Rocco, was an excellent short story writer and poet. None of his work has been published. This is one of his favorites that I have transcribed. Sheila and Frank Alden are two ends of the same rope. The farm life has given them a lot to think about, and their married life has stretched that rope to its absolute peak and maximum. What good does honesty do for a marriage, and ultimately can it change everything? What are the rights and wrongs of love?
