It's March 21, 2024, the day of the Annual Purge, a day in which all crime, including murder is legal for twelve hours. All emergency services are suspended. Jessie and Adia struggle as they have no where to stay on Purge night. Maya and Leilani flee from their home as their mansion is invaded by a gang. Kenny and Ngawang must face the fact that their home security system has broken down right before the Purge. Eventually the group end up together as they try to survive the night.
