An Affair with Words

This is a poetry book.

Although, I am not someone who reads much poetry,
Or someone who writes much poetry,
I have decided to give it a try.

Most of these poems will likely be free verse,
Since free verse is pretty much the only type of poem I know how to write.
Maybe someday, I'll dabble in other forms of poetry,
But for now, I just wanted to share the occasional poem I wrote.

I am an amateur poet, if I'm a poet at all,
But I nonetheless hope you enjoy what I have to offer.

I suppose you could say this is
My affair with words. ;)
