In a world where Magic once flourished, the City of Karn, was where Magic was at its peak. But on one fateful night, a terrible creature was summoned and it destroyed Karn. Decades later, the Magistrate, the organization that handles Magical Crime has outlawed the art of summoning and all other Dark Magics, in fear of history repeating itself. Meet Gaelic Dresden, a wizard within the rebuilt city of Karn, who stumbles upon a illegal summoning and is caught by the Magistrate. Claiming his innocence and his willingness to prove it, he will be sent on a perilous journey to complete twelve trials, if uncompleted, he will be executed.
