Her mother died 2 years ago, her father has had depression ever since then, and she has a stepmom who does all the work. But it is Riley's job to take care of the twins. Will it get better for Riley? Will she stop getting bullied? Will she overcome self harm? Can she make it without her real mom and dad?
Charlie: Charlie is a gay teenager battling bullying. He gets picked on because of his looks, social issues, disorders, and sexuality. Can he make it through high school with the weight of bullying on his shoulders, or will it weigh him down? Will he and Riley become something more than the friends they are now?
