Virgil black is broken. After years of abuse from his dad and step mom, bullies, and self harm. He is broken mentally, emotionally, and physically. When his childhood friend, Patton sanders, is finally in the same high school as him...what happens when his main childhood bully is one of his best friends. Will they move on from that, and possibly even become more than friends?

This has been playing out in my head for a while, so I thought 'why not make it an actual story?' And so I did. *Completed* Virgil doesn't know it, but he's the son of Lucifer. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. Virgil is sent to his Uncle Patton's place to live and goes to a new school. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him. The religious parts of this story is based loosely (very loosely) around christianity. Pairings will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus, if it's not your jam that's fine you don't need to read. There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of every chapter that will include cursing, death and blood. He tries to convince himself he's happy as he returns to his house every night after working overtime and falling asleep on the couch only to start the cycle again the next day. One day he passes by a school after having to take a different route because of roadworks and he spots a cheery, light brown haired teacher by the elementary school.
