DAASTAN- E- ISHQ: TALE OF LOVE AND WAR
We were never supposed to marry, and our marriage was wrong because of many reasons but it didn't take him a single second before he shouted in front of the whole village and said that I am his wife and marry me in front of them. And I was just standing there like a statue because what could I have done when my own family is in different country and the person whom I was getting married ran away leaving me to get killed by the goons. He saved me when no one was there for me, when everyone was against me and wanted to kill me. He stood there like a rock and become my shield and my husband. And this is where our story of endless love and fight begins. And all of this just because we are from different religion and society will never accept our marriage and love. All of this started because of that tremendously awful day when it was announced that our country is getting divided into two parts and that we have to leave our country, my home where I was born and brought up. The partition of 1947 changed my life for forever. I am Noor and this is my story of Love and War with those whom I used to thought were my loved ones.

"Is there a reason why you have chosen my unit for this particular mission, Colonel?" Thomas asked. "Do I need a reason?" "No, sir, I..." Thomas trailed off and a still silence fell between them before he spoke up again. "You're troubled, sir... I can sense it. There's something about this mission that you're not telling me." Kyden turned around, his steely grey eyes locked with the blue ones of his curious protege. "It is because of that intuition alone that I chose you for this mission..." Kyden approached Thomas and lowered his head. Placing a hand on his shoulder he spoke softly. "You will see things that you won't be able to comprehend. Have questions that don't have answers. Be forced to make decisions that will risk the lives of your unit... if you don't decide carefully..." "Yes, sir." Thomas adjusted the cap on his head and headed towards the door. "I will prepare my unit immediately." "Captain Thomas." Thomas looked back at Colonel Kyden. "People fear what they do not understand. Fear leads to hate. Hate leads to violence. Do not give into fear. Use that brilliant mind of yours to see past the surface." Thomas considered his Colonel's curious words and nodded respectfully before exiting. ~ "Captain, if I may," Merrick said suddenly snapping Thomas out of his thoughts. "Were you aware that Weapon 86... was a woman?" *** This is a fantasy/science-fiction story set in a post-apocalyptic world. After the "Event" that wiped out nearly half of the earth's population, The Omery Army, based in Australia, has taken on the task of protecting the remaining civilians and fighting back against mutated enemies like the Xree. On the brink of war with the Xree, General Commander Richard Rockwell has tasked Colonel Kyden's Unit X with retrieving the one weapon that could save them all: Weapon 86. But what's the truth behind Weapon 86? What is General Commander Rockwell hiding from the very people he claims to be protecting?

In the year 2023 Japan declared a war onto America and on this year many men and woman joined into the army to get ready for the war,Calem Michaels the son to the former Ex Air Force Pilot Jospeh Michaels who signed up to the army to prepare for the war to protect his family and prove to his old man who did not have full support in him but he also promised his mother and his little sister Amelia that he will come back to them in one piece so he placed a locket around her neck to know that he will come back but a tragedy struck during one of his air battles his plane got shot down and landed in the Alps. Once the America have been defeated the Japan moved into America and took capture of it in the many people were tortured,many children got split up from their parent's being put up as slaves and some have fled to other parts of the America unknown to the Japanese forces but during the escape Amelia's Mother and Father both got captured and tortured, once in the year 2054 Amelia in the age of 16 heard stories that some American soldiers were alive and well and hearing her brother's name she sets out on a journey to go and find him with the locket around her neck from her brother before he went into the war but she is unaware that deep with in the woods of the school there is a Mansion where a boy lives his name Shadow and he was also Amelia's brother but along the way Amelia will find out that she is from a Royal Blood Line and she is the only one who could stop this war.

Xuan Huaifeng hated that person so much. Harassed him when he was a classmate, and bullied him when he was a boss. If that guy hadn't used some method to sneak into his room and spend the night, he wouldn't have been forced to study in England by his father, and he wouldn't have been separated from the person he really liked. But in this flashy and turbulent era, no one can guarantee who will always be in power. His father, who was the commander of one party, fell down, and he also changed from a handsome noble son to a shy teacher. Just when he tasted the warmth and coldness of the world and was hit one after another, the person he liked did not appear, but that person did. That person──an old classmate from back then, now the powerful customs chief, Bai Xuelan.

"Do you have to leave?" I say through tears. "I promise I'll be home before you know it." That's a lie. It'll feel longer than what it actually is. And it will all feel like hell. "I'll be lost and...and...alone without you, Matt" I sob even harder. "Don't say that. You'll have Aunt Kathy and Jo. Trust me when I say this: they know exactly what they're doing. They've been through plenty of these before." I nod, not trusting my voice, afraid I'll break down again. His hand comes to my cheek as he wipes a tear that's falling. His arms then indulge me in a huge hug, his familiar cologne invading my nostrils. "STARKS! We're boarding!" I flinch at the fact that its time to let him go. He kisses the top of my head, "I love you." He whispers in my ear. "I love you too." I respond weakly. "I love you most." And with a final, hard kiss, he walks away from me. Kathy holds me and lets me cry on her shoulder as Matt looks back at me, and walks into the plane. ~~~ **This is an original story by @QuackingDuck.
