After Miracle Queen and Loveater attacked, Marinette forces herself to move on from Adrien. He had Kagami and she loved him. It seemed like they were meant to be.
So Marinette decided to date Luka, she truly cared for him and knew he liked her back, she didn't like him as much as Adrien but perhaps he'd grow on her.
There was one problem though...
Chat.
She had begun to care for the cat-like superhero more so than Luka. It was unfair to him for her to like two other boys.
...But that didn't matter
They moved on. And she would have to do the same once again.
