The Nation: Birth Book One of the Sankofa Saga In the ashes of a dying world, a new republic rises-one born not of conquest, but of memory, sacrifice, and fire. When Dr. Mwana, a brilliant geneticist and theologian haunted by war and prophecy, vanishes from public life, rumors swirl of a mysterious stronghold deep in the southern forests. What few know is that he is building more than a sanctuary-he is building the future. A sovereign Black nation forged in science, rooted in spirit, and guided by a vision older than time. But the world does not yield its power peacefully. As nations fracture and global systems collapse, a shadowy enemy emerges: the Council of Odin, an elite cabal bent on ensuring that no sovereign Black republic survives the fall. Each member of the Council commands ancient forces and modern arsenals-gods in human flesh, dressed in steel and myth. Against them stands The Twelve Pillars-warriors, prophets, scientists, and survivors-united under the banner of the Sankofa Republic. Each has a past, a burden, and a role to play in a war that stretches across continents and bloodlines. From the pyramids of Georgia to the frostbitten cathedrals of the Arctic, from forgotten lineages to newly kindled flames, The Nation: Birth is the opening chapter in a saga of world-shattering revolution, divine ancestry, and a people reclaiming their destiny.

It was Edith's third life. First she was a poor hardworking girl lost under the pressure of work in the modern world of airplanes and computers but then she died.... Then she found herself in the novel she used to read. The book was worn out as she had reread it several times and now she is bound to the plot as a character who had to avoid the fate of ending up the villainess's accomplice and save her life. So her choices ultimately almost led to a happy ending where she even fell for one of the second male leads but then...SHE DIED AGAIN. >﹏< >﹏< ⏳⏳⏳ Now again she was in the novel world. Was this to avoid death or her lover? She couldn't really say but the only thing was some characters were now different from the initial novel plot especially Derek whom she loved. Now she wasn't even sure if it was really the actual Derek or someone else. So was she brought back again to find the real Derek? (Story is mine. Do not copy.)
