You know that one moment in your life where your world is completely turned upside down? And I don't mean tripping over your own feet, kind of like what I tend to do.
Just completely makes you view the world differently?
Yeah that happened to me, Bailey Martin.
You grow up to believe in everything you see and not to believe in fairytales or fantasy except, maybe, Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.
However, I found out life isn't as clear cut as they make out to be. Life especially isn't as clear cut for me, when a crow, appropriately called Chance, turns up. There's a chance he will turn up and a Chance he might not or he may just talk to you in your head to make you temporarily think you are going insane.
But when coincidences are starting to make more sense and connections between me and Chance can't be denied (although I do give it a good try), I am forced to deal with the truth, which isn't my greatest trait.
Throw in some talking animals, a forbidden curse and a bit of smart ass and join me on my wonderful adventure in which I'm the perfect heroine. Not.

"You had no right to do that," I snap, trying my best to out walk him. His chuckle was loud behind me and his hand griped on my forearm, stopping me. Something about his warmth gave me chills all over my body. Something I don't think I ever wanted in the first place. Especially from him and especially now. "Yes I did, and I still do." His hard grip around my arm loosened, and snaked up to lock his fingers through my hair. Oh Momma, what is happening? Being this close to him has been happening way too often for normal. Still, I couldn't break away from this close contact, I was frozen, shocked. "What makes you think that?" My question hit him with humor, and instead of fully responding, he leans his face closer to mine. The smirk on his face stayed once he noticed the affect he had on me. Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents.
