Melinoria has her goals set, but when she gets in
a plane crash on her flight to her new college, she looses a limb and her hope of a normal life.
With doctors appointments, check ups, and classes to juggle, will she have enough time in her busy schedule to juggle the complications her parents throw at her? Will she be able to face the consequences that come with those complications? With the burden of a prosthetic leg, a clingy roommate, and lost hope, Melinoria somehow manages to numb the pain with a smile she wears everyday.
