Mature
Miles has lost control over his life. He struggles with paranoia and lives in a dream-like state. One August day, he lets himself mentally drift off from civilization and the real world. He takes a lot of LSD, and during his trip wanders into the woods. He spends a couple of weeks living in the forest, continuously taking acid and staring through the window panes. Then he meets the person who will change his life for the better, even if Miles doesn't know it yet.

Loud Silence (BoyxBoy)

23 parts Ongoing Mature

Miles is nervous and quiet. He graduated early to escape the relentless bullying and abuse of high school. Now isolated and suffocating in the silence of adulthood, he struggles with mental health, loneliness, and past memories. His world shifts when he meets Atticus, who's kindness and confidence Miles quickly craves. As their relationship grows, Miles clings to the hope that maybe, just maybe, someone could love him and help him heal. But the haunting of Miles's past threatens to destroy the fragile life he's fighting to build. Set against a backdrop of late-night parties, quiet heartbreaks, and moments of vulnerable honesty, the story explores trauma, identity, sexuality, and the terrifying hope of letting someone in. This is the first long-form story I've ever written. I would love feedback as long as it's respectful. This story has been swirling around my head for years, and I'm excited to finally fight against my own anxiety and put it out into the world. ⚠️ Trigger & Content Warning ⚠️ Loud Silence contains boy x boy romance and deals with heavy mental health themes, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse (emotional, physical, and sexual), sexual identity struggles, and death. I do everything I can to portray these themes honestly and respectfully. Reader discretion is strongly advised.
