Binitawan ni Maria ang binabasang libro at umayos ng upo paharap kay JL. Alam ng dalagang hindi nagbibiro si JL sa tono ng boses nito.
"Sige." Nagulat si Maria na ito ang naisagot niya. Iba ang nasa isip niya. Pero sadyang ito ang lumabas sa bibig niya. Ganon naman palagi. Lahat ng sinasabi ni JL, pumapayag siya nang hindi nag-iisip.
