Running

she runs. she runs and hides. away from them. away from the hurt. she runs but they always catch her. but now they're distracted they are yelling and arent paying attention. they left the door open when they leave. maybe maybe this time she'll get away. it's been so long. so long since she's seen outside, been outside. she remembers though, the last time she thought she could get away. maybe they won't come back.
'go, ' the voice inside her head says. 'go!'
