This is an AU where the prosecutor for Phoenix's case when he is accused for his friends murder is not Payne but, Miles Edgeworth. And Phoenix is heartbroken and upset that his childhood friend who is prosecuting his case, showing no remorse. But it seems to Phoenix that Miles does not care about him anymore. Causing 5 black Psyche-Locks to appear on Phoenix Yet he still becomes an attorney to come across his childhood friend again. But when he finally faces of Edgeworth he decides not to talk to him unless he needs to. Miles trys to unravel why Phoenix has become so quiet and distant around him. And reveals the truth.
