I was sitting in the first step of my porch starting at the colors of the sky. How it turns, a bright orange with a hint of pink, when the sun goes away to sleep. I change my view to the little blue house in front of me. Sally's house. Slowly and without noticing she was beside me in silence. We didn't say anything, maybe because we didn't know what to say or maybe we needed that silence. We are surrounded by noise most of the day, mostly voices, words that don't mean anything and words that cut like knifes. Screams. Screams that wound you forever. Yes, we needed that silence. But we both know that it wont last forever.

-Sally- I finally say.

-¿Yes, Michael?- I laugh a little.

-You know that I hate it when you call me that.-

-I know.- I take a deap breath, think of the right words to say but dont find any. So I just get to the point.

-I'm in love with you.-
