Hunger, diseases, war...
A few examples of what Humanity has endured for centuries in which all end up with a death or two, with a bit of luck. How easy is it for a living being to lose ones' breath, like an ant being squished by little devils for entertainment? Imagine having to wear such a frugal body that can barely last a century. Can you face the truth that one's body slowly decays from the evil called time, who have already claimed people you know and about to claim the rest? Are you able to smile when your turn has come, and with a bit of luck, people might actually have tears pouring out for you?

Now Imagine opening a box, a small red box, that has an answer to this minor problem. A delicate box that you have only one chance to open, and if ever you refuse to, will no longer appear. Will you open it no matter what it takes? No matter what it takes?

Author Note.

She uses a Ouija board to try and contact them. But it's not her family that she reaches... "Is anyone there?" The eye moved to the 'Yes' " Are you my mother?" It goes to the 'No' very quickly. "Are you my father?" It goes to the 'No' "Then are you my brother....?" I trail off. This is scaring me. It slowly goes to the 'No.' "Then... Who are you? Read to find out more. Internet fads were nothing unusual, from light-hearted videos to scary stories you wished you didn't listen to, the world wide web was as regular as it could be from a glance. It was just as regular to find (Y/N) scrolling the endless pages, trying to soak as much of it in as possible, especially when it came to all things horror. (Y/N) relished in the possibility of anything otherworldly intertwining with her tangible reality. So who's to say the post she read about a sentient AI bot wasn't true? And who will stop her from clicking the link to test it herself? A simple click can quickly give you more than you bargained for. A BEN Drowned slowburn. Especially when an age old prophecy by a group of oracles says you are fated to lose everyone you care about. On top of possibly being rejected by your mate, or killed if they find out who you are. On the upside though, that same prophecy claims that you have some amazing powers even though you don't. So that's something, at least. ---------------- Isabell McVeigh is 14 years old when she has to separate from her adoptive parents. She winds up just where she was warned to stay far away from. The blood brood pack. She is forced to stay and is made an omega. She still has an escape plan, though it's going to take time to execute. Once the alpha steps down and his son becomes alpha, the command keeping her there will be null and void. Plus with everyone distracted it will be the perfect time to escape. She just has to hope she can make it until then and that she doesn't meet her mate. If she does and he rejects her, all he'll will break loose because that will be the start of it all. Will she be able to survive until her powers fully show themselves and she takes her rightful place or will she be found and extinguished before that can happen?
