Annabeth is surrounded by friends and happiness in the central 1st district of the United Districts, but when the 12th district decides they should receive more care a rebellion rises. The 1st district is in danger due to bombs sent from the 12th district rebels, and they demand attention. Annabeth is sent into the slums of the 12th district with some friends, expected to find their "leader" and execute them before the 1st district is in ruins. Will she make it out alive? Or will the rebels win?
