In the Emerald City, a long time ago, there lived a group of friends. Elphaba, the green girl, is cynical and rational, focussed on her work and friends. Fiyero is a divorced father of three and a Vinkun prince. Milla is a shy Gillikinese girl stuck in an unhappy marriage with the Munchkin, Boq. Avaric is the resident asshole and the dissolute son of a Margreave. Glinda is a new addition to the group, a college student who works as a barista in a café to pay her rent. But when people all over the City suddenly start singing and dancing, it is up to this varied group to come together and get rid of the problem. But with assimilation a looming threat, will they be able to retain their integrity? Or will they succumb to the Hive Mind?
