Mei Inoue is a 20 year old graduate from high school, living on her own in an apartment in the Western Hayakita district in Japan. Not only that, but she has taken in an orphan boy: a 6 year old named Hio Inoue. The biggest highlight of her life. One day as she's coming back to get some food to eat, she finds a woman, visibly injured struggling to walk in a alleyway. Mei rushes to treat the almost unconscious woman and allows her in the apartment.
Nothing like this has ever happened. Little does she know that her life will soon change drastically. How will this affect her life? Her kid? She thinks nothing of the occurring nightmares, or the unknown handsome man who haunts her dreams. But when it starts to become an issue, she begins to think that's its not just random.
