In a world where you can trust no one, Sebastian has to learn how to have faith in the one person who could save his life- Avis.
When Sebastain ends up in a car crash, he thinks it's an accident, but something makes him think that's not true. When he arrives at a hospital in Melgrass, it looks like everyone else there thinks they ended up in accidents too. No one thinks to question, no thinks to ask. That is until Sebastian shows up. When Sebastian meets Avis, a teenage nurse and soldier, he realizes something is very wrong. Avis knows nothing and Sebastian knows nothing. How bad will the truth hurt?
When the two team up, they are invincible. That is until they learn the reality beyond the walls.

In a weird way, your heart would ache whenever you saw Sebastian smile, or whenever you'd hear him laugh. His joy wasn't real. He was clearly confused but played it off with sly jokes and remarks.
