Leslie (just Leslie) has spent a long time in foster care - being bounced from family to family in Mississippi. All she really knows about herself is that she has no family she knows and "darn" is the word she uses most. This girl is ready to figure out who she is, so she's getting on a bus to a northern state with lighthouses and tall cliffs. Maine is going to be interesting, but she's got to get there first.

*WARNING, NOT EDITED* Ashley was in her Senior year of High school. She is 17. She has had a wonderful high school experience and is ready to finish strong for her last year. What she didn't know was that her friend's boyfriend's friend would become very close to her. She would soon go through some things she had never experienced.
