What happens when you are failing college and you just recently go out of relationship gone bad? You leave college and go to a different country. At least that's what happened to Rose. 

Catharine Rose Platt is your typical college freshman. She has one goal in life, to become a doctor. Sounds easy right? Wrong. Rose is drowning in school work, her classes are proving to be much harder than she had anticipated. When she mentions to her parents that she might take a break, they aren't mad at all, in fact, they ship her off to another country for some relaxation.
