In the city of St. Lucyris, four reluctant adolescents are recruited to become crime fighting superheroes much to their dismay. They soon realize that the city is in so much disrepair, that leaving it in that state will degrade the lives of their families' and friends'. The group, consisting of a frivolous hacker, a duo of a timid journalist and a selfish gamer and a young baker, now must face the most death defying job in their lives. Fires, robberies, collapsing buildings, floods, kidnaping recuses, anything the human mind can imagine, they have to trudge through. Villains bring the worst of themselves and politics are corrupt. Worst of all, they can't be excused from high school. Will they, with the help of magical nature sprits, save their hometown before it crumbles? Or will they be maimed by the hands that feed them?

Elias has always been a boy made of shadows-sharp edges, quiet steps, and a flicker of silver magic that feels more like a curse than a gift. Sent to Camp Half-Blood on the brink of death, he's thrust into a world of demigods, monsters, and fragile alliances. But safety is an illusion, and trust is a luxury Elias can't afford-especially not when Luke Castellan enters his life. Luke is golden-haired confidence and fractured smiles, a hero weighed down by the burdens of choices no one his age should have to make. He's fire and light, and yet there's something broken behind his sharp blue eyes-something Elias can't help but reach for, even if it means risking everything. But the tides of fate are cruel, and loyalty doesn't always come easy when the gods themselves are players in a war older than time. As shadows lengthen and secrets unravel, Elias must decide how far he's willing to go to save someone who might already be too far gone. When the line between hero and villain blurs, when love becomes a weapon and hope feels like a fleeting star in an endless night-how much of yourself are you willing to lose for someone you can't let go of?
