Fourteen year old Ghost Pokemon trainer Emethyst is forced to move to Alola from Kanto after her mother passes away in a tragic accident. Her biological father, Professor Kukui, takes her in. Emethyst is very troubled, and doesn't know if she can go on with her new, mostly unwanted life. Will she get through it, and can Professor Kukui revive his relationship with her? Hurt/Comfort/Angst. (Just a warning, may have some harsh scenes later.) Minor swearing in some parts.

Pokémon: Kanto Summer Camp
Hello, I'm Nocturnal Jay! Devoted Christian! I used to also make these stories on a YouTube channel, but I opted to end that and focus on writing without being limited to screencaps. I feel more free with just doing text versions! This story was my first one from my old channel. I started writing this in 2016 and finished in early 2018. It's a nice, comedic, feel-good story with some drama and sadness thrown in there. It'll feature a lot of shippings, most of which are with Ash. It's written in mainly script format, but with some shades of prose as well. I prefer script format for several reasons, so please be open-minded. I know it might not look like normal stories, but I hope you still find it worthwhile! It contains about 40 characters, more or less, who attend a summer camp in Kanto. The characters are averagely about 18 or older (yes, pretend that it makes sense for 18-year-olds to be at a summer camp, just pretend!). I tried to keep a lot of realism with this story that I wasn't seeing with other ones. Apologies in advance for how cringe it is, haha. Alola to a New Journey!
Basically, a typical betrayal story...without a betrayal, so to speak. Basically, Ash's pals think it is time to try something new. His Kalos league run got everyone so excited, only for Ash to lose. They started to wonder if a Master is the right way for him to go. Disappointed that his friends lost their faith, Ash sets of to Alola, hoping to clear his mind. When a brand new League is announced to be opened, Ash takes a chance on this opportunity to finally become a Champion, putting him one step closer to Master. This is going to be separate from canon, with some similarities. This is not going to have Ash catching a bunch of Legendarys, or using the whole ''Aura" thing, It's just good old Ash, on a good old adventure. I will include Meloetta, since it's my personal favorite Mythical Pokemon, and Ash will catch Poipole / Naganadel. I dont think I will include Melmetal in Ash's team, for a reason you'll see further in. But Meloetta wont be caught, it's kind of just along for the ride. :) Team Rocket, our loveable trio of dorks, is still a loveable trio of dorks, they just, aren't part of Rocket anymore. They are now members of Team Cook. Yep, they're cooks now. And maybe also a guest appearance from a fan favorite Ninja Amphibian? Anyways, this is my first story with a main ship, too: Aureliashipping.(Ash x Lillie) It wont be the main focus, but I will include a few moments to hopefully please the crowd. That's about it.
