Hounds and Lightning

Becca's life has continuously gone down hill since the death of her father. First there was her step-father, then a plague which even her mother, a healing mage could do little against. Becca was used to life taking more than it gave, but when it takes her mother and brother at his birth, she thinks she's seen the worst of her luck; until her step-father gambles her away in a dice game.
With no rights, no family, and no friends, Becca must accept whatever allies she can, and hope for the best of the worst.
