Every story always ends with the same cliché of a "fairytales happy ending". But what if this Cinderella story ended differently? What if the shoe fit one of the step-sisters? Well this is exactly what happens to 17-year-old Jennifer Elaine Aymond. After her father's death, her step-mother kept her and her two step-sisters in their country Louisiana home. Jennifer is a dancer and a nerd at Buckeye High School and she has a thing for Hunter Collins, a boy in her grade. When she is forced to go to one of her sisters' basketball games, she sees Hunter, team
captain/cute cowboy. When he finds her phone, her step-sister Leslie claims it as her own and now she has to hopelessly watch her crush fall for her evil sister. And with the threats from her step-mother to not let her attend LSU, she has to assist their budding romance. What will her dance coach, Sarah, and her best friend, Savannah, say about this? What will it take for this shy teenager to stand her ground?
