Have you ever felt alone? As if you could just disappear and no one would care? In this story, ninth-grader Emily Fox completely understands. Growing up in a very conservative household, she always knew that demons were evil. So, what was she to do when she not only learns that she's adopted but ALSO half-demon? Well, run away to an alternate dimension of course! If only she had mastered her powers... Only being able to stay in her perfect dimension of ice for three hours at a time, can she handle learning to control her powers, keeping them secret from her adoptive parents, AND surviving the ninth grade? Not to mention the demons that keep showing up on her doorstep to eliminate her!
