Lonely

Warm baths every hour, because you feel cold inside.
Laying on the hardwood floor, because you feel you belong there.
Listening to music, because the world around you is dead silent always.
Texting people frantically, because you need some sort of human contact. when no one responds you shutdown.
When you shutdown, you try to get back up.
When you can't get back up, you put your mask on.
When your mask is on, you not only fool those around you, but you fool yourself.
Maybe that's why I wear that mask, to forget about the loneliness.
