In the beginning of werewolves there were two twin brothers. They were very close until something drove them apart. Their father, the Alpha, would only choose one of them to rule over where they lived, the north. One of the twins was quite big for an early werewolf while the other was average, but was smarter than his twin. Though the smaller of the two lost and was casted out of the pack. He was forced to retreat to the south with his mate. Thus started two sides of werewolves. As the north experienced the Ice Age they started to evolve into what is now known as Dire Wolves and stayed that way even after the Ice Age. Ever since the beginning Northerners hated Southerners and vice versa. Southerners had many packs, but there was one over them all, the Alpha King, a descendant of the first Southerner. The Northerners had one massive pack and their leader was just known as the Alpha, he too was a descendent. Alpha was terrifying and was someone to be feared. Most were never blessed with even a glance from him. He's lived for a long time and has yet to find his mate. It made his heart black and as cold as the land in which he ruled, but that changes when he meets a young southern werewolf girl who was caught trespassing on his lands. Will his heart melt for her or will she die rejected by the Alpha?
