This is a short Halloween story I made last year about a poor girl named Delilah! I may make an alternate ending/universe where it's happier or I may make a sequel if it becomes popular enough ( or I might do both)!

There is only one village left. All the others were prone to destruction. The war was long and scarring. Everyone fought, but nobody won. Bombs were dropped, guns were fired, until no one remained. Except for a small group of people who hid away in the Nebraska prairies. They grew and re populated after the deadly war was over. A small village sprouted and streets began to fill, but the world was still small. Still only one village remained. For Cameron, there was no hope of building a new world. Her village was the last village and that was where humanity would end. The world would not get better. It would never get better. But when her family and friends disappear and more and more people vanish every night. She will have to choose where her allegiance lies. With her village or herself. Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. The Fertility Mark (Book 1)
NOT EDITED VERSION. Delilah got a huge responsibility on her shoulders at the age of 17 when her parents died. The responsibility: her seven year old sister, Alice. They don't know exactly how their parents died. All they knew was that their car exploded, but their bodies were never found, even after the fire was put out. Delilah thought that her life was simple -well as simple as it gets with a seven year old in your life- but what she didn't know was that people were looking for her. For both her and her sister. The mark that they bore behind their neck symbolized something bigger than what they thought was a simple birth mark. It symbolized mate. But more importantly, it meant that they could bare a child with no fertility problems. On the vampire world, fertility is a big problem. It's been thousands of years since a female has birthed a child that has been capable of passing down the vampire gene without being bitten or cursed (the worst and most painful possible way ever) or both mother and infant dying. So finding a female with the mark is like finding your own personal treasure. When Delilah meets her hot new neighbor and finds out he's a werewolf -not just any werewolf but the most powerful Alpha King- will they be mates? This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Concluida
