Based on real people this fictional short story is set in the 1870s when gold was first discovered at Towers Hill on Christmas Eve 1871 by a 12-year-old Aboriginal boy, Jupiter Mosman.
( I wrote this when I was bored and got inspiration from an article I read) This story has real names of people and Jupiter did, in fact, find the first piece of gold in Charters Towers but apart from that, this is all fiction.
