"is there a pulse?" "i'm afraid not" - Tianh had always felt out of place, looking in from the outside if you will. Her friends felt like mere acquaintances, and adults felt like jail-keepers. Her grades were barely staying up, and at times she lost control with her temper. That all changed when she met him. Ambrose Markov learned from a young age just what he was capable of. His mother had taught him early on to never let the outside world know of his existence. That was before a girl had caught his eye, one who radiated with an aura of power. Sometimes, just sometimes, rules are made to broken.

A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to? Read on as we see Freia and her friends struggle to find their places in the world they thought they knew of. [COMPLETED] [UNEDITED]
