Unknown to the two of them, Jungkook and Chaeyoung started liking each other back in high school. But neither of them made a move until they went to college and enrolled in the same major at the same university. They became good friends. And when Jungkook started acting on his feelings for her, Chaeyoung found out that she was to migrate to Australia with her family. So despite finding it difficult, Chaeyoung chose not to allow things to escalate any further and left Korea without clearing up things with Jungkook.

It took Chaeyoung seven years before she came back to Korea to work in a magazine company along with her best friends. And she previously thought that seven years was long enough. But when it came to forgetting Jungkook, she realized that it wasn't enough at all. She didn't understand why her mind kept on coming back to him even after all those years. Her what-ifs were only adding up each year. However, she wasn't planning to rekindle anything with Jungkook. Feeling guilty of her previous actions, she didn't want to compromise him even more.

However, Jungkook had a different plan. When he met Chaeyoung again after she'd gone missing for seven years, he was determined to carry on their intercepted love affair. Although it didn't seem too easy when he realized that a lot of things had changed along the passing years.
