With the principal in his corner, Kris fought for the right to try out for his high school basketball team.
The coach had no other choice but to allow Kris to try out just like every other boy. However, Kris isn't exactly like the other boys.
Kris is a transgender young man that's had to fight just to be himself. He's endured more than most people his age, including hormone replacement therapy and surgery. He steps into the gym on tryout day with nothing but unwelcome stares from his potential teammates.
However, he has a handful of people in his corner. He has his loving parents, his best friend Ariel, and Melody- the girl he's had a crush on for years.
Will he earn a spot on the team? Will he become a Trinity Warrior?
Has his crush finally noticed him? Is this his chance to get closer to her?
How will they treat him if he secures a spot? Will they warm up to the idea or continue to treat him like an outsider?
Will the coach behave appropriately or allow his beliefs to keep him from doing his job?

"What if I'm not one?" I asked, my body wound tight with tension. "One what?" he asked, his voice soft and low. I hesitated. Was I ready? I wanted to tell him so badly. "Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips. His hands gently gripped my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His quicksilver eyes were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a few kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places. I glanced back at Leo. His gaze was still as intense as it was before. He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. Sean Owens: a stoic, popular jock that's mostly known for his sporty lifestyle and his good looks at his school. No one -not even his closest friends- know he's gay, but he's never tried to hide it, just never tried to show it either. The one person that he thought he would tell about his sexuality was the same person that made him realize it, but that person stopped talking to him soon after he moved. It had been so long he couldn't even remember what his face looked like. But he didn't matter now, what mattered now to Sean was to get through this last year of highschool, and to get into college. Simple as that, it wasn't like his past crush was going to randomly appear in his school or something. Will Sin-Nombre: a Hispanic, jokester that comes from Catholic family, and had to be homeschooled after a rather serious fight that may have, or may have not earned him a trip to the hospital, and some minor memory loss. He thought he would be homeschooled again this year, but his parents had found him a school that would take him. Usually, Will would ease right into any situation quickly, but this school isn't like the public school he went to before, and he wasn't completely sure what he thought about his rather attractive, yet super familiar looking classmate.
