No matter how hard she tried, Marinette could never make any friends, as everyone just seemed to ignore her. It's almost as if no one could hear, no matter how loudly she called out, screaming herself hoarse into an empty void she called Earth. No one could see her, no one knew her name. She was invisible, or so she thought.

Adrien was popular and loved by everyone, but he couldn't help but stare at her across the classroom everyday. The way the light hit her navy blue hair, the way her bluebell eyes shone with tears every time someone forgot her name. It broke his heart every time he saw her upset, and he wanted it to change. He wanted to make her happy.
