Bandits have swept through The Edge; killing, kidnapping and looting. After losing a dear friend, Zinneera returns home to find her village deserted and must lean on the biggest city in the North, Al-Amin for aid, all the while trying to keep her secret hidden.
In a turn of events Zinneera bemusedly find herself being tied to the obstinately furiating son of the Ameer in a bid to save the land from evil. 
As one would expect though, things often don't turn out the way they are expected to.
