Instead of bringing Pietro back, the machine sends his body and mind to an alternate reality, where the Avengers are in comics and movies, and Quicksilver himself is no more than a famed character among nerds. Glory Northern is a high school student, almost to college. Planning to major in Creative Writing, she plans to try to work for Marvel Comics, creating the very characters she loves so much. Her life is all but unplanned. What happens when a unconscious Pietro falls onto her front lawn as she's walking home? Does she run away, or more precisely, she run away with him?
