These apparently unconnected characters will end being linked up by the consequences of an event that will ultimately trigger the unveiling of Homeworld's most well hidden secrets. This story is a Steven Universe fan fiction that wants to create an alternative point of view on the original show without changing the canon events. For that, I use big amounts of speculation to fill the gaps the show left when it ended. The action is presented in short chapters and is told almost entirely told from my original characters perspective, the one of gems, and some other alien races, curious about their existance, their origins, and their possibilities beyond serving their superiors. I assume you've seen the cartoon before reading this fanfiction. Beware of the spoilers if you haven't seen all Steven Universe, the Movie, and Future.

Steven Universe, on a mission with the Crystal Gems, finds a large black gemstone with wave like patterns in the colors of fire. He shows it to the gems, who've surprisingly 'never' seen such a gem before, and with a bit of convincing, allow him to take it home. When Steven awoke to get a midnight snack, the gem reformed and appeared in his kitchen. Who was this? Why havn't the gem's heard of him before? Why did he feel such a pull to him? What does he know? This boy, as known by pretty much everyone in the town, was Steven Universe. After catching his breath slightly, Steven notices an older boy stealing a loaf of bread from a nearby grocery store. Determined to stop the apparent "criminal behaviour", Steven rushes into action, startling his three female companions, and soon all four are chasing the older boy.

Your mother knew she would be gone as she was having you, and yet she didn't stop to have you born. After years go by, your father had enough of you and finally decided to get rid of you. By drowning. Yet you still alive and was living and surviving alone. Until you met a certain curly-haired boy that was called by the name of Steven Quartz Universe. This is not my first time writing so I bet that I could make the chapter as long as 1000+ words. This book also took before the movie started. This book also contained bruises, blood, injuries, torture, gore and etc. If you didn't feel comfortable reading, I am so sorry and please read the one-shot book that I will be making.
