At a young age, Zadie knew there was a purpose for her existence. Even when no one else believed, there was a burning inside. Somewhere between divine intervention and world-ending tragedy. When war finally came, it wasn't what she expected. The gate of Hell opened and the spawn that spilled across the world seemed unstoppable. At least until the Angels appeared. That was ten years ago. The war between good and evil was in a prolonged stalemate. Which to some, was far worse than the war itself. With the gates of both Heaven and Hell permanently closed, free reign had been given to both sides. Anyone caught in the middle was subject to extreme and painful termination. Now Zadie had to deal with possessed humans serving their hell-spawn masters, demons who wanted to flay her alive...and angels who would gladly give up their wings to zap her into oblivion. Zadie, however has other plans. One way or another, she would see to it that humanity would be free of angels and demons once and for all.
