In An Angel over Rimini, is Mike Lambert's first case for Europol, and involves the abduction of a little English girl from a campsite in Riccione in Italy. It is a cold case, which has been re-opened due to public pressure, the intervention of the British government and the agitation of leading English newspapers. DCI Lambert goes to Rimini to help the State Police re-investigate the kidnapping of little Penelope Scratchford, only to find that the investigating authorities are quite determined to blame the parents for her disappearance and murder. It becomes clear - as his investigation progresses - that there are too many unanswered questions and that much of the evidence has been ignored by the original investigating officer, Vice Inspector Daniel Bosola.

All memories of her family, her life before, and even herself. However, with the support of her boyfriend, Ethan, she was able to move forward after failing to gain back her lost memories. Seven years later, Laina and Ethan are happily engaged, living together in rural Georgia, and are three months pregnant. All seems perfect until the new deputy comes to town and everything changes. Laina is given a second shot to recover her memories and learn about her past. But what she finds may lead to more questions, more secrets, and more betrayals than she ever could have imagined. Royce Hernandez needs to escape--his family, his demons, and his guilt. So, he packs up and takes the farthest job from home that he can get, which happens to be the new deputy sheriff position in small town Rosemont, Georgia. He thinks the sleepy town will give him a break from his life and give him time to think, but he is all too wrong when a nine year old girl is abducted from her home in the next town over. With leads drying up and the case going cold, Royce takes risks to try and find the man who took her. What he doesn't realize until he digs deeper and deeper for answers, is that the man who took Natalie Cabell could have also been tied to twelve other missing girls across the country. With the clock ticking down and the suspects dwindling, will he find and save Natalie Cabell in time? Or will this serial abductor outsmart him too and shatter his new life here?

Harry lost his parents and his older sister, Gemma, when he was eight years old in a house fire. He was at his best friend Lottie Tomlinson's house at the time of the fire. Since then, he has been bounced around the United Kingdom, going from a group home to a foster home to an orphanage. He was constantly abused in one way or another, whether it be emotionally, mentally or physically. Over the years, he had lost and isolated himself from everyone. That was until he was arrested at the wrong place and time. Sorry, I suck at descriptions. Trigger Warning: talks about rape, physical abuse, child abuse, self-harm, mentions of human trafficking, torturing, drugs, guns, sexual content.
