Hideously overweight. That's what Irene Savell was. Being 250 pounds gave her the access to unlimited bullying by the school's in-crowd. Keep in mind though, they aren't just your daily queenkas and kingkas, but a bunch of extremely spoilt brats who think they rule the world since the school is only meant for the rich. But there is just so much pressure a girl could endure. Sick of all the non-stop bullying and snide comments she had to get through daily, she decided to have a makeover, and a vengeful one it is.The end of summer holidays not only signals the start of a new school term but also a newly changed Irene, who swores to put each and every one of them back into their own place, especially...Ryan Thorne, the school's jock and the one who makes her life a living hell. There's no way she's letting him out of it. The only comfort she has gained by dealing with all these shit is having a little crush on Nathan Vans , one of the few people who isn't mean to her. With a change in appearance and persona, will she gain Nathan's heart? Revenge is sweet, but sometimes, it's too much.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
