Kind of a random oneshot I came up with after reading Flashback. Basically, Keefe gets his memory wiped by the Neverseen, leaving Sophie & co. to figure out how to explain his life. It becomes quite raw as they are forced to face the fact that the old Keefe from books 1 & 2 had been slipping away for a long time, yet they stood by and let it happen. 

EXCERPT: 
"Alright, cool." Keefe finally lets out in a strained voice as he starts writing on the paper. "Abusive parents, lonely childhood. What other delights do I have in store?" 

No one speaks.

Tears sprung into Sophie's as she recognized just how much Keefe needed her- a desperation that consumed him from the inside out, a feeling that reflected her own. "I'm yours." Sophie promised.
