Katie is the ultimate planner, with a carefully created life plan, when she grows up she'll have it all: law career, husband, house and kids. On her boyfriend Mark's thirtieth birthday, he proposes. Except he drops a bombshell, he's bored and leaves on a gap year, without her. Katie wonders if she can plan zest into her life without going abroad, after all, she's on the Partner Track Program at a top-notch law firm and can't just leave. Yet she's always wanted to go skydiving, enter a karaoke competition and she surely could squeeze excitement in as well as achieve her law ambitions.
