Seventeen-year-old Alice is an introvert through and through; although that never really mattered before. Growing up she had always found comfort in being alone.
But when Alice's mum falls into a coma and she's moved into a group foster home and being alone suddenly becomes her biggest fear. In an instant, her happy life changes forever.
The Murphy Group Home is a world away from Alice's privileged upbringing; It's here that she meets Faith, a loud and uncouth young woman, and Ralph, a recovering teenage drug addict. As Alice builds relationships with Faith and Ralph, she finds in them the support she needs. But the two troubled teens have problems of their own; problems that are quickly catching up to them. Can Alice find a way to deal with her new role at Murphy House whilst coming to terms with her mother's condition?
Little does she know, Ralph and Faith are about to have a huge impact on Alice's journey into adulthood.Tutti i diritti riservati
