Lucario or more likely known as Luca was only 10 years old when he moved away from his old town he could never remember the name of, when he was 17 he moved back to his old town, unbeknown to him he didn't know it was his old town, but when he finds a boy who looked similar to his childhood best friend everything changed.

Lucas, Lucario's childhood best friend since diapers was a depressed and shy guy, yeah he used to be on the football team but he left due to the depression of remembering how his old best friend used to love football. When he was 17 he was still yet to find his mate, well he knew who his mate was just he never knew if he would see them again, until one day under that fateful willow tree.

(Okay yes I know some of you are thinking of Lucario from Pokémon but I'm getting the vibe of Lucario from him so shush!)
