She was abandoned after the MP's caught her captors. She could barely talk, she couldn't read or write. Hell, she could barely understand what other people were saying to her. Levi and Farlan found her walking down the street one day. She was dirty, her hair was matted with blood and dirt. Two teenage boys were kicking her around like a doll. She didn't move or fight back she just sat there, numb to the pain. Levi took her in and taught her many things. One being love. Voilet evergarden inspired. Complete and rewritten as of 2023. It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. December twentieth is the day I remember being brought into the asylum for the first time. Like any typical psychopath, I screamed. I cried. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. Since we only saw the backsides of them we didn't know what to expect.The Doctor walked around the cages and pulled me with him until we were standing exactly between the cages. A gasp. The Doctor didn't say a word, there was horror written allover his face. I clapped my hand over my mouth. Pure terror was in my eyes as I looked around.
