On a faraway island in the middle of the ocean lies a huge tower, its seemingly endless ceiling reaching towards the sky. In it live eight bloodthirsty demons, a group of prisoners, and two young girls. One wishes to be free of the pain she endures each day. The other wonders what her purpose is in the world.

In the middle of a town known as Magnolia, a large guildhall rests peacefully with its inhabitants, a group of skilled wizards with the bond of family keeping them together. Fairy Tail; an eternal mystery, a never-ending adventure. That is the purpose of the guild, their meaning in life. One boy: a young wizard who wishes to be stronger in order to protect his friends. One girl: a young wizard who has tremendous power at her fingertips but does not wish to cause chaos in the world through fighting.

In this world, there is no boundary that can clearly draw the line between good and evil. Because sometimes there is evil in good, and sometimes there is good in evil.

And other times, there is neither good nor evil.

Just where does everyone belong in this twisted world?
